Technical Lead & Architect

Architecture & Technical Design • Define and own the overall system architecture, technology stack, and design patterns for the product • Make high-level technical decisions and trade-offs around scalability, performance, security, and maintainability • Produce and maintain architecture documentation and diagrams • Set and enforce coding standards, conventions, and engineering best practices Technical Leadership • Guide and mentor developers through code reviews, design reviews, and pair programming • Resolve complex technical problems and remove technical blockers • Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical risk • Ensure technical consistency across teams and components Delivery & Execution • Break down product requirements into technical tasks and provide effort estimates • Oversee implementation to ensure alignment with the agreed architecture • Own the testing strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and non-functional requirements • Balance technical debt against delivery timelines Collaboration & Communication • Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions • Liaise with product owners, project managers, and joint venture stakeholders • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences • Coordinate across teams, vendors, and external integrations Governance & Strategy • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and U.S. real estate–relevant standards • Evaluate and select tools, frameworks, and third-party services • Align solutions with the product's long-term technical and business roadmap

Cloud & Infrastructure • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking, IAM) • Container orchestration with ECS / containerization (Docker) • Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPC, security groups, TLS) Backend & Data • Expert proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript • Strong PostgreSQL experience — schema design, query optimization, performance tuning Mobile • Native Android development with Kotlin AI / ML • Experience deploying ML models in production, including model serving with vLLM • Familiarity with tokenizer configuration and inference optimization Nice to Have • Experience building products for the real estate & proptech • Experience leading distributed or cross-functional teams • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) • Background in high-availability, high-throughput systems What We're Looking For • Proven track record as a technical lead or architect on production software products • Ability to balance hands-on coding with strategic technical leadership • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring mindset • Comfort operating across the full stack — cloud, backend, mobile, and AI Experience & Education • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or architect role • Proven track record of taking products from concept to production at scale • Experience building or scaling SaaS / web-based products (real estate or proptech experience strongly preferred)
